Large Rose

Row 1: With no 7 hook, ch 24, sc in 6th st from hook, (ch 3, sk next ch, sc in next ch ) across, ch 1, turn. (10 lps).
Row 2: ( sc, ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, sc ) in first lp, (sc, ch 2, 4 dc, ch 2, sc ) in each of next 3 lps (sc, ch 2, 5 dc, ch 2, sc ) in each of next 4 lps, (sc, ch 2, 6 dc, ch 2, sc ) in each of last 2 lps. Fasten off.
Beg. with first Petal of row 2, row strand of Petals and tack on back side to hold shape.

Small Rose
With No 7 hook, ch 24, sc in 6th ch from hook, ( ch 3, sk next ch, sc in next ch ) across, ch 1, turn.
(10 lps ).
Row 2: ( 5 sc, sl st ) in each of 5 ch lps, ( 6 sc, sl st ) in each of last 5 ch lps. Fasten off.
Finish off as in Large Rose.

Violet
Round 1: With no 7 hook, ch 2, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook (5 sc).
Round 2: ( sl st, ch 2, hdc, ch 2, sl st ) in each sc around. Fasten off. (5 Petals).
After fastening off, insert hook from back to front in same st. as first Petal, pull end through and work in on back side to eliminate the gap between first and last Petal. With yellow thread, sew a french knot in centre of Violet.

5 Leaf Spray
With no 7 hook, ch 10, for Leaf, dc in 3rd ch from hook, ch 3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook, ch 3, sl st in same ch as dc; ( ch 6, make a leaf ) 2 times, ( sl st in rem. 3 ch of 6 ch, ch 3, make a leaf ) 2 times, sl st in each rem ch of ch 10. Fasten off.

Small Leaf
With no 7 hook, ch 12, sc in 3rd ch from hook, sc in each ch across to last ch; for Base, 3 sc in last ch; working in opposite side of ch, sc in each ch across leaving 3 ch unworked, turn. (20sc)
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, sk first st, sc in each st across to centre st of Base, 3 sc in centre st, sc in each st across leaving last 3 sts unworked, turn. At end of last row, (14sc), fasten off.
